Halloween (Wizard Video - 2600 - 1983) It’s hard to believe now, but at the time having any kind of gore in a video game was unheard of.  This game and Texas Chainsaw Massacre were very difficult to find in stores, despite the fact that they were officially licensed and based on highly successful movies. So the game isn’t that great, but I think they pulled off the theme music from the movie pretty well.  You can hear it on youtube here. Additional note: unlike Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you play the victim (the girl) in this one.
